Adsense Below the post title in Blogger

Your blog earnings depend mainly on your blog's traffic and on your ad placement. One important place to place the ads is below the Post title. It will give more importance to the ads and there is more possibility to get clicks. This is in accordance with the Google Adsense TOS

I am personally using the same hack on this blog. You can see adsense ads below the post title on all my  pages.Ok now let us get into the details of how to set it up.

First of all login to your adsense account and generate ad code of optimum size..
Now copy that adsense code into the following box and parse it(you may not see the parser if you are reading my feed)

Copy off the parsed code..
Now login to your blogger account.
Go to Layout > Edit Html and expand the widget templates.
Find this piece of code
<data:post.body/>

Now add the following code just above that line.
<!-- BloggerPlugins.ORG Adsense Above Posts start -->
<b:if cond='data:post.isFirstPost'>
Put your parsed adsense code here
<br/>
</b:if>
<!-- BloggerPlugins.ORG Adsense Above Posts End -->

From now on you should have adsense below the post title. On pages with multiple posts(eg: home page, label page etc) , the adsense ads will show up only on the first post(i.e  below the post title of the first post). It wont show up on the other posts on the same page.So you are abiding by the Adsense TOS.

  37. @Dani - Wrap the Adsense ads within

    <div style="display:inline;">
    parsed adsense code
    </div>

    this code should be wrapped within the coditional tags as mentioned in the post.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hi, it didn't work, can you give me any tips? http://personalisedchocolates.blogspot.com I think I have done it wrong, it now just says "parsed adsense code" aboive each ad block, but it still doesn't wrap...

    ReplyDelete
  39. @Dani - change <div style="display:inline;"> to <div style="display:block;">
    It will work properly. Remove the line "parsed adsense code" . you have already added the parsed adsense code. that line was intended to be replaced by the adsense code. As you have already added the adsensse code just remove the line "parsed adsense code"

  44. I am just approved from adsense and don't wanted to disabled before earning any buck from, are you doing something wrong according to adsense TOS ?? because they always use to warn that don't touch the ad codes doesn't matter you are a programmer.

  45. Thank you very much :) it works!

    ReplyDelete
  46. hi friend ..nice information u got..u see im using AdBrite ..so is this trick applicable for Adbrite or is it only for Adscense..well I hope we can use this trick for any add related program for parsing code and stuff..but just wanted to know from you!!

    There is one more thing I would like to know that ..how can we increase ads to show in all the posts of the page..u know in AdBrite we can place as many ads as we want..unlike Adsense.

    the adsense ads will show up only on the first post(i.e below the post title of the first post). It wont show up on the other posts on the same page.So we are abiding by the Adsense TOS....

    How can we show up the ads in more then two or three posts..??
