    1. Aneesh, the more I explore your site the more I like it! -

Just a suggestion but you could get more traffic if you add this widget to your site so non english speakers can follow your simple instructions.

    2. It's cool, but only works if the original blog is in English =(

    4. Very nice page, thank you for sharing these.

Do you have a widget for the the show hide comments feature you are using here?

Also do you know of a script which limits the number of characters per post that show up on the main page and offers a link to read more that will take you to the individual blog post page? So to keep the front/main page short when there are long articles. If so, please let me know.

Thank you. Beautiful scripts and easy instructions.

    5. I've been struggling to find a translation widget and this worked like a charm. Thank you. My question ...... It seems to have limited languages and some of my viewers are turkish and dutch. Any chance you are going to add any languages?

    6. Aneesh-
Thank you for your response to my question, but when I put google's translation gadget into my HTML I get the following:

"Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed."

      Where do I put it?

If I use the google translation that I find in blogger under "add a gadget" I get a prompt saying that says

      "Missing or malformed url parameter"

    8. Cool, but if your blog isn't in english and you want followers who only speaks english to read, you can't translat!!
Am I wrong? If there is any way for foreign blogs please let me know!
I already retweet it, but didn't know about that, and most of the people in my twitter are brazilians.
But great widget if your blog is in english already!!
      Tatiana.

    12. Awesome site, Aneesh.... I can't explain how useful it has been to me in developing my blog - I'm a sculptor and know practically nothing about computer language & codes. Thank you, thank you so much!

    13. This particular translation widget was added successfully... However, I want it to appear horizontally, just below the header. I tried adjusting the placement in the blog layout... the flags still appear one below the other (occupies too much space).

Also, I'd love an option to translate Hindi/Marathi wording to English for Indian readers outside Maharashtra. Can you help in this regard?

    14. @ Hemant - Go to this page http://www.google.com/webelements/translate/ . Set the Page Language as Hindi, Display as Automatic/always . Now copy the generated code. Add a new HTML/JavaScript Gadget on Blogger and paste this cod into it and save.

btw instead of having a separate blogspot blog , you can add your blog on a sub-domain of your site like blog.hemantsonawane.com . for more details refer http://www.bloggerplugins.org/2010/03/sub-domain-on-blogger-custom-domain.html

    15. My website is in Flash.... Is it still possible to host the blog & website together? Please advise...

    16. @Hemant - yup, you just need to make 2 CNAME records as mentioned in that tutorial. you can create the CNAME records using the Simple DNS Zone Editor" in your hosting cPanel.

    17. Lovely idea and just what I've been looking for. Trouble is I'm getting 'Bad request - 400 error' everytime I try to install it. What am I doing wrong?

    18. So, to save you the time of finding a solution, it seems to have sorted itself out. I logged onto my blog later in the evening to find that there was no actual error and the widget was installed.

      have a look here waldiland.blogspot.com

    24. Thanks for a great widget! I have been looking for a good translator gadget but I wish it had more languages since I get visitors from all over the world (my blog - http://mortalimmortals.blogspot.com/ - is about the EVE Online MMO which is worldwide).

I'm having one problem with it though... My blog uses a template that has a main on the left and a mix of 1 and 2 columns on the right for gadgets. The Translator works fine if I put it into a full 1-column space but it has too much unused space beside the single column of languages. When I put the Translator into a 2-column space, the Powered by Google Image at the bottom doesn't adjust to the size and messes the columns all up with the Google Image displaying outside of the box. Can this image be resized?

    25. widgets are nice and very useful.
but none the less there is no menu options horizontally and vertically.
for minimal user knowledge of javascript, like me.
