This widget has some additional features unlike other 'Top Commentor Widgets'.This allows you to filter out the blog author's name from the top commentators list. You can filter out as many names as you want by using the filtering option in the widget installer(the filters should be separated by commas). So if you don't want to list 'Anonymous' in your top commentator list then just use it in the filter field. Another feature of this widget is that users can navigate to the commentator's profile or site by clicking on his name in the list.
You can also set the number of Top commentators that you want to display. You can see a demo of the widget here.
How to Install the Top Commentators Widget For Blogger
Just use any of the Widget installers provided here. Provide your blog URL(in place of www.bloggerplugins.org ) in the Blog url: field of the widget installer. You can also set the number of commentators to be displayed and you can add the names to be filtered out. If multiple names are to be filtered out, then separate then using commas. Click Customize and then hit the Add Widget to Blog Button.
1) Widget Based On Recent 500 Comments. This will judge the top commentators from the latest 500 comments to your blog.
2) Widget Based On Recent 5000 Comments. This will judge the top commentators from the latest 5000 comments to your blog. This widget is only needed if your blog has high density of comment.I mean if you have more than 500 comments on your blog you can use this one..
Note:-Install the second widget only and only if your blog has lots and lots of comments.Else you should opt for the first one..

Wow.. This is great ! Good job !!
ReplyDeletethanks.. it would be nice to see you using it in your blog..
ReplyDeleteHow hard would it be to modify a copy of this widget to show the top authors for a team based blog?
ReplyDeleteI'd like something that does a list and/or cloud format of authors by post count.
yea.. it is possible.. a widget which lists the top authors..i think your top author is Jim Kelly with 813 posts.. hope i am right..
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for your help for my blog, I don't realize about the mistake. I am amazed looking your blogspot site and other blogger such as Amanda that using blogger.com as their blogging platform. I don't know much about useful widget for my site and always hope can migrate to wordpress. But I think after this I should carry on my blogspot site and getting own domaian name for it. Thanks again!
ReplyDeletep/s: I thinks this dofollow comment box is great. I should apply for it too.
thanx for nice widget :)
ReplyDeleteyou are welcome!!
ReplyDeletewow....actually surprised to see this plugin for blogger nice work.
ReplyDeleteNice widget. I'm using it!!!! :-)
ReplyDeletetnx
ReplyDeleteHi, is there a way to get rid of the numbers or customize it a little?
ReplyDeleteyea it is possible if you want to remove the left numbering.. delete the following 2 lines from the widget code..
ReplyDeletedocument.write('<ol>');
and
document.write('</ol>');
If you want to remove the number of comments, then i would have to modify the yahoopipe used for this..
Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteI just installed on my blog.
Been having a tough time encouraging discussion, so any reward I can give will help.
Thanks!
just install this.. thanks as it really help me to keep track of who actually was commenting on my blog the most
ReplyDeletethanks for this one!!!
ReplyDeleteA great widget. Thank a lot.
ReplyDeleteThis widget doesn't work in my blog
ReplyDeletewhere is my comments?
ReplyDeleteThanks! Installation was a breeze. :)
ReplyDeletethanks for this, i've been looking for this. i'm now using it :)
ReplyDeleteI really wish I could use this plugin...however, it doesn't work for me...I wonder what's wrong?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, this is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI just have a question: would there be any way for the calculations to be made using more than 5000 comments? It's that I checked and my blog is approaching 5500, and while that isn't a big difference at all it means the numbers will become less accurate as time passes and more comments come in.
Thanks!
i already add this..
ReplyDeleteThanks for this cool widget. I have a problem.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't I filter out my own name for the Top Commentator? :(
I put up your widget but it didn't filter out my own name. Why? :(
ReplyDeleteHi there. I did what you said, but when it appears on my blog, it doesn't list anyone, only my title and the credit for the plugin. Is there something I need to fix in Blogger settings? Please help, I would love to use this. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have made modified this widget to expand it to the last 10,000 comments, so I could keep a historic top commentators list.
ReplyDeleteYou can find it here.
Are you the original author? Because I could never find who created it so I could thank him/her for having published the solution to my 'problems'.
I've seen this widget on other folks' blogs and it works fine. It's not working on my blog and I can't figure out why. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
ReplyDeletehey dude
ReplyDeletebut the value fluctuates when i use the first code for recent 500 comments
changes everytime i see my group blog
www.weandwords.blogspot.com
This is useful for me because, I am looking for a better way to put comment form in my blog. Thank you
ReplyDeleteThanks for this widget,i'm use it

ReplyDeletehttp://simple2learn.blogspot.com
Great Widget....Thanks a lot
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem as Danifer:
ReplyDelete"Hi there. I did what you said, but when it appears on my blog, it doesn't list anyone, only my title and the credit for the plugin. Is there something I need to fix in Blogger settings? Please help, I would love to use this. Thanks!"
Sure would be great to get a solution to this. I'd love to use it, if we could get it to work. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteHey wow !!! This is really a good widget I liked it please visit my website to check it work...
ReplyDeletewww.alanwarez.tk
im waiting ....
This widget opened in another window and there was no way to save my changes or post to it my blog. I tried doing what the instructions said but there was no such setting in Blogger.
ReplyDeletehttp://jjinla.blogspot.com
I had to expand the pop-up window to see the buttons but it's now on my blog. But my name appears in the #1 spot, even though I listed it now to show up at all.
ReplyDeleteI'll always be #1 because I respond to every commenter. I don't want to be on the list at all. What now?
http://jjinla.blogspot.com
i dunno why this doesn't work at mine! huhu!
ReplyDeletethank you SOOOO much!!!!!!I have been DYING to get one that actually WORKS!
ReplyDeletepengen pake widget ini, tapi koneksi internet lambat jadi ga bisa deh..
ReplyDeletemungkin lain kali kalau sudah cepat koneksi internet saya.^_^
Hi :)
ReplyDeleteI have installed it, but so far it hasn't shown up anything except a link back to this site...
I will leave it there for a couple hours just in case it takes a while to activate? I hope it will eventually, because the idea of it sounds really cool !:)
Thank you Aneesh for letting me know what I had done wrong when I installed it, it works great now ! :)
ReplyDeleteThankyou for sharing this widget also :)
I want to use it, but it didn't work... (probably it's my mistake, but...) Can you help me?
ReplyDeletei don't know but it doesn't work for my site. when i reach the point where i can already add the widget, it freezes and when i refreshes it it stays in the smae page and nothing happens.
ReplyDeleteit already worked! yipee!
ReplyDeleteI had trouble with this but I found of that it worked fine if I removed the / at the end of the url of my blog. And no spaces in the filter.
ReplyDeleteHi. I have your widget in my blog, http://adurarealidade.blogspot.com/.
ReplyDeleteI just started it, and I only have 3 comments. Nevertheless, i have people who commented my blog 74 times. It seems the widget is getting wrong info.
How do I reset the widget or something like that???
Best
Susana
thanks for this
ReplyDeleteits awesome
ReplyDeleteThanks for your response. I tried what you suggested, leaving out the last "/" from the website address. Unfortunately, it still doesn't work. The widget shows up, with no names ... just blank. I'd love to use it, but it doesn't work with my site for some unknown reason. Wish it worked. Looks good, if it happens to work. :(
ReplyDeletefabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletehttp://abjectu.weblog.ro/
very good
ReplyDeleteHey there. This widget sounds so good but when I added it to my site, I just got a link back here. Any idea why it won't work?
ReplyDeleteMy blog is at http://boxingwords.blogspot.com/ and I have added this widget to the bottom middle footer.
Thanks in advance!
@ choco its because you didn't fill out the widget installer properly..
ReplyDeleteyou should fill it with boxingwords.blogspot.com and not
boxingwords.blogspot.com/
there shouldn't be any http:// at the beginning and no / at the end..
hope you got it..
@Aneesh
ReplyDeleteThat was simple! (Blush)
Thanks a ton. It is working like a dream now! :)
i love using these widgets. i use them on all my blogs. thanks for the great tips.
ReplyDeleteanyone know where i can get some cool widgets (eg. cursors) for my blog on... mybloglog.com and it has widgets for your blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for these widget. But I have a little trouble: the widget don't want to show top of my commentators. And I don't know why... :(
ReplyDeletehow do I remove your commentators?
ReplyDeletethanks!
@М.Врединка that is because you filled in the widget installer improperly..
ReplyDeleteYou used m-vredinka.blogspot.com/ instead of m-vredinka.blogspot.com
@leticia-galsintheknow.com did you provide your blog url??
ReplyDeleteyou should provide your blog url yourblog.blogspot.com in the widget installer.
Thanks 4 the widget
ReplyDeleteThis widget doesn't appear to be working. It hasn't updated in a few weeks. I've removed and re-installed it, and it's still not working...
ReplyDelete@Oz Girl if it didn't work that means you didn't fill the widget installer properly..
ReplyDeleteyou probably might have filled it withoz-girlspicaday.blogspot.com/ instead of withoz-oz-girlspicaday.blogspot.com i mean when you fill the widget installer don't use http:// and dont use the trailing slash at the end..
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat Widget!
Amazing widget.. installation was so simple..
ReplyDeletethanks a lot.
And what about classic blogger?
ReplyDelete@Alexandre Brendim if you have the classic blogger template, then you will have to manually add the script to your blog's template..
ReplyDeleteFirst fill in the widget installer and you will be taken to Add Page element page
There opt for Edit Content. Copy out the entire code from there and close that window. Now add the copied code to your classic template..
me already add to.. any gadget to view the flag country from the viewer???
ReplyDeletei am using this for my blog.. it works fine if i select 10 top commenter.. but its blank if choose to view all.. can you help me out
ReplyDeletethanks
http://aadityaranjan.blogspot.com/
@रंजन did you install the second widget or the first one?? you should use the second one as your blog has so many comments..
ReplyDeleteit works with even 20 top commentators... here is a preview at http://ajaxlabelcloudforblogger.blogspot.com
what is the maximum number of commentators that can be shown in this widget. I hope to see top 50, but it shows only 25...?
ReplyDelete(siddharth) http://satyarthmitra.blogspot.com
Aneesh:
ReplyDeleteThanks.. I am using the second version.. I want to show all commenter like this blog (http://doordrishti.blogspot.com).. there is some problem..
I got a new Idea after seeing the preview on http://ajaxlabelcloudforblogger.blogspot.com..
how to put my top commenter on other blog? do i use same code or i have to make some changes?
thanks
@रंजन yes you can use the widget on any blog..You just have to fill the widget installer with the blog url whose commentors are to be displayed..
ReplyDeleteI do it but it not show post.
ReplyDeleteThis is my blog:
http://thanhdatvn.blogspot.com
Free Socks Proxy blog
first of all your blog didn't have any comments till now.. i have made one now. and i installed the top commentors of ur blog on my test blog at http://testselectivewidgets.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteyou might have made some error in filling in the widget installer.. you should fill the installer with thanhdatvn.blogspot.com
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI was very happy to find this widget.
Unfortunatelly I've installed it now but nothing happens. I red the comment on this page to find the solution but I don't see it. Could you please help me to see If I've done something wrong. Thanks a lot ! merci !
fill the widget installer with partimonkiki2.blogspot.com and nothing else.
ReplyDeletei personally tested a version of this widget with your blog url and it is working..
ReplyDeletekikiou (22) is your top commenter.. ;)
just fill the widget installer with the url i mentioned in the previous comment..
Hello Aneesh,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your answer and for making the tests for my blog.
I tried again, just by pasting partimonkiki2.blogspot.com in the widget but nothing happens yet.
Maybe I'll try to see the code in the blogger template ?
Thanks again.
Hello again Aneesh,
ReplyDeleteWould it be possible for you to copy_past the html code of the widget with my blog address in it so I try to paste it again in blogger to see if it works?
Thanks you.
I won't disturb you anymore !
I added this widget to my blog. It worked well but now there is no list anymore. I tried to install it a second time but the widget is empty... What can I do?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Anja
@nordish by nature the widget becomes empty when you fill the widget installer improperly,.. ;)
ReplyDeleteActually you should fill the widget installer with ostseewind.blogspot.com and nothing else.. means you shouldn't add a www or http:// at the beginning and you shouldnt add a slash at the end.. i have tested the widget with your commentor list and it is working..your top commentor is berliner luft und ostseewelle (17) ;)
Tq for ur tutorial...i add this widget already...love it ...thanks ya...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the widget! Up and running at my site now. Cheers!
ReplyDeletei was wondering to put top commentetors list on my blog but dont get idea how to do ,but after getting your help now i can do it, thanks
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteGreat widget. I'm using it on my blog now. Thing is, the filter does not seem to work with names that have spaces. I want to filter out my blog partner's name - Yi Lin - but I can't seem to be able to do it. Can you help?
My blog is http://danyilin.blogspot.com
Thanks!
@Dannie,
ReplyDeleteyea its true. and there is a work around for that too..
just use Yi%20Lin as the filter ie.replace all spaces with %20 .. :)
and from now on. i have updated the widget installer to do that automatically..
ReplyDeleteHi Aneesh,
ReplyDeleteThanks for responding so quickly. Unfortunately, I tried just reinstalling the widget, as well as manually changing the HTML. Both methods do not work.
Yi Lin still appears as a top commentator on my blog at http://danyilin.blogspot.com
Is there anything else that I can try?
@Dannie.. Did you click the customize button before you added the widget??
ReplyDeleteIts working on my test blog..
http://themelabblog.blogspot.com/
Hi Aneesh,
ReplyDeleteHmm... I did click on customise. I played around with the coding and finally got it.
To filter out Yi Lin, Dannie and Anonymous, I had to replace the filter section of the code with 'Yi%20Lin%2CDannie%2CAnonymous'
I guess the %2C replaces the comma.
Thanks lots!
@Dannie
ReplyDelete%2C was automatically added on by the script because i used esace(filterinput) in that javascript..
i am not sure why it went wrong with you..:)
I get a comment about Internet Explorer not allowing something due to cross site scripting after I fill out the form.
ReplyDeleteI don't get any options from then on :0(
@Kit Courteney
ReplyDeletei didn't understand what you meant..
can you please explain?
This widget hasn't been updating the comment count for days. Can you look into it, please?
ReplyDeletehttp://jjinla.blogspot.com
i have install top commentators but i can get top commentator for my blog
ReplyDelete@ddinbunga i can't help you without seeing your blog.
ReplyDeletegreat tips thanks to share
ReplyDeletethank you for this wonderful widget
ReplyDelete@_el@i_
ReplyDeletethanks for the appreciation. :)
@J.J. in L.A.
the widget will take up blogger comments only.. it wont take up comments made using JS-kit
tyryyyr
ReplyDeleteLook very nice, Thanks for sharing :D
ReplyDeletesEE okishicRew bloG.......
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome widget! Thanks a million!!
ReplyDeleteDidn't realise you had responded, sorry.
ReplyDeleteAfter I fill in the information and click the Add to blog button, it takes me to my Add page element screen but I don't get any options to do anything at all. All I get under Edit Content is:
document.write("\x3ca id\x3d\x22save\x22 class\x3d\x22cssButton\x22 href\x3d\x22javascript:void(0)\x22 target\x3d\x22\x22 onclick\x3d\x22if (this.className.indexOf(\x26quot;ubtn-disabled\x26quot;) \x3d\x3d -1) {var e \x3d document[\x26#39;addWidget\x26#39;].ok;(e.length) ? e[0].click() : e.click(); if (window.event) window.event.cancelBubble \x3d true; return false;}\x22\x3e\x3cdiv class\x3d\x22cssButtonOuter\x22\x3e\x3cdiv class\x3d\x22cssButtonMiddle\x22\x3e\x3cdiv class\x3d\x22cssButtonInner\x22\x3eAdd Widget\x3c/div\x3e\x3c/div\x3e\x3c/div\x3e\x3c/a\x3e"); document.write("\x3cinput type\x3d\x22submit\x22 id\x3d\x22save-hidden\x22 name\x3d\x22ok\x22 value\x3d\x22Add Widget\x22 tabindex\x3d\x22-1\x22 style\x3d\x22position:absolute; display:block; width:0; padding:0; z-index:-1; border:none; top:-5000px; left:-5000px\x22\x3e");
It doesn't make sense to me!
Hi Aneesh, I've got question. When a person clicks on any of the top commentators, what code should I add for the page to open in a new window? The widget is up at www.noelboyd.com
ReplyDeletethank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've had to reload this. Sometimes it works and sometimes it just says:
ReplyDelete"Blogger Widgets" without the count of contributors
peevishpenman.com
@C. E. Bailey,
ReplyDeletethis widget is based on yahoo pipes.. Yahoo servers doesnt like too much of their bandwidth being consumed. So they reject some requests. That is why the widget fails at times..
The widget stop working now. What do I do bro?
ReplyDeleteI love this widget, but it is now not working on my blog. I have over 500 comments so I switched to the over 500 widget - worked for awhile, now it doesn't display the names. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteThis is a great widget- I love it and use it on my blog:
ReplyDeletehttp://adailydoodle.blogspot.com/
I have noticed though- that some of the numbers are quite inaccurate. For example I know that my top two commentators have over 100 comments each but this is reporting 48 and 35... I am not sure why. Any clues?
Something has gone wrong with this widget.
ReplyDeleteI had a commentator who topped with 52 comments and now they are reduced to 11 and the numbers have changed from high to low for others as well
Any reasons for that?
@The Survivor ,
ReplyDeleteits nothing wrong with the widget. The widget scans the latest 500 or 5000 comments only(depending on the widget you added). So the comment counts will change with time..
why the number of prvious commentators were reduced
ReplyDeleteI still dont have an answer to my question- my order is all coo-coo
ReplyDeleteADailyDoodle.blogspot.com
I know a couple of the numbers are way off-
for example "Lisa" had over 100 and now she is at 22? I thought I had installed the past 5000 comment widget because at this point i probably have a few over 500- but It seams to be foo-bar
Thanks aneesh u have done a great job dear !!!!!!!
ReplyDeletedoes it take a moment for the comments to be scanned? coz i installed the widget but it's not displaying anything... :(
ReplyDelete@phtriples ,
ReplyDeleteremove the widget and add it once again :)
this widget uses yahoo pipes and the old pipe got out of bandwidth due to heavy usage :)
So i have updated the widget with a cloned pipe..
It works, but not for my page? The widget is there, names and numbers are listed; but they are not the names of people who've ever visited and left comments on my page. Who's results are being shown?
ReplyDeleteIt's showing I think names of people from your blog, not mine????
PLEASE Help! I really want this widget and have been looking all over to get one. I tried to under the pipe thing where one builds one themself and thats way way beyond me.
Thanks
Sandy
moving widget to button of the page for now, since it's not showing my commentors...so you'll know where to look to see what's wrong.
it works now did it again
ReplyDeletethanks
sandy
Still not working right for me... i just tried re-doing it to see if the code has been updated...
ReplyDeleteadailydoodle.blogspot.com
Still not working right for me- Its still way off. I just re-installed it to see if the code had been updated... didnt seam to change. help?
ReplyDeleteBut the url of the commnetator is not displayed
ReplyDeleteI'm using this, love it thanks! But...the numbers keep changing that are listed. Naturally they should go with each comment someone makes; but some of them have gone done. I've not deleted the comments of those that have gone down?? I also question if it's counting them all? Could you look, my top commentor, Jan has commented on almost all my posts. Todate, I've had 62 posts, you can see her numbers only indicate about half???
ReplyDeleteThanks
Sandy
Thanks for such an Awesome widget for Blogger!!! But unfortunately i use Disqus comment widget on my blog.
ReplyDeleteHi, Aneesh,
ReplyDeletethank you very much!
IMPORTANT:
Why do I see some commentators names to be linked to blog.com?
I don't like it!!!
:-))
I installed the widget and it works great.
ReplyDeleteNo comments yet as my blog is new but it does get over 300 hits a day, be the first!
http://welcometoafreeworld.blogspot.com
thank you for this widget! :)
Checking back, was hoping for an answer to the problem about the number of comments decreasing. Haven't heard back from you via email sandycrochet@gmail.com, nothing on my blog, so thought I'd check back here again and see there is no response.
ReplyDeleteCould you please see what the problem is. My top commentors posts as well as others keeps getting smaller not larger. I feel almost 100% certain the count is not accurate.
Thanks
Sandy
wow ur widget r perfectly working on ma blog....then problem is how i wanna to remove my self on that top commentator....thanx a lot
ReplyDeleteMy comment numbers have been going done too. One blogger comments on my blog a lot and she's not even on the list.
ReplyDeletethank u!! its working on my site..
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem reported by some of the earlier commentators - the numbers seem wrong. And for some of them, the number of comments are actually decreasing. If possible, a solution for this would be much appreciated.
ReplyDeletehttp://danyilin.blogspot.com
Thanks!
It works on my blog.... tnx sooo much... the only problem was my name is the top commentator.... ive already filtered my name but it keeps on appearing... help....
ReplyDeletewww.myasiandrama.com
Thank you so much for sharing this, it worked at first try. Absolutely perfect, thank you!
ReplyDeletesincerely,
WindBlower
The widget's not working :(
ReplyDeleteHi, I love this widget but it's not showing any commentors. I've probably done something wrong. Could you tell me what it is? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLooks like an absolutely great widget, but I've tried repeatedly without success. All I get is the Top Commentators title without any content. I've tried adding the blog (dokumentaryfotografr.blogspot.com) as instructed to no avail. If you have an idea or suggestion, I'd love a quick email to me on my blog. Thanks and hope all is well!
ReplyDeleteaneesh- i know this comment is going to sound like a broken record bcuz i've read multiple comments with the same problem...only the title and credits appear on my blog, but not my commentators. this is how i added my url: designcocktail.blogspot.com (without http: or the /)
ReplyDeletecan you test it out and see what the problem might be?
thank you!
Can i have a widget like they are on Wordpress, where comments are on the top of the posts? Cos down there at the end, nobody finds them.
ReplyDeleteIt's not working for me.
ReplyDeleteI've tried repeatedly to get it working and read through all the comments for hints and nothing has worked.
I tried entering the web address in various ways, so that isn't the issue,
I wasn't sure if I was using the classic template or not so I also tried copying the html text and pasting in the html widget and it still doesn't work.

Hey webmaster, good day. Totally Great work. You have gained a new fan. Please continue this awesome work and I look forward to see more of your excellent posts. Take care.
ReplyDeleteNice work. i look forward to see more of uour excelient posts. thanks.
ReplyDeleteI have added it - and you can see it on my blog, but it doesn't seem to be registering any comments? How do I fix this? Thanks
ReplyDeletehttp://pageturnersbooks.blogspot.com
@Becky and all others - sorry for the trouble. Remove the widget and add it again and it will work :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of the widget where when visitors click on a pictur it takes u to another link?
ReplyDeleteI kind of want it for my website so how do you get it?
Great widget! Works very well and easily customized. Only problem is that I can't filter out my own name. I've read the comments and my code looks like this: filter=Sonrisa%2CNewlywed%20+%20Unemployed"> but I'm still showing up as my own top commentor.
ReplyDeleteAny fixes?
newlywedandunemployed.blogspot.com
Thank you.I will add to my blog
ReplyDeleteOoh this is a fab widget - thanks for the tutorial!
ReplyDeleteEsme x
Hello. The widget works for most part. However, I can't seem to make the name filter work. I've tried it with and without spaces after the comma. It looks like I'm not the only one with that problem. Any workaround?
ReplyDeleteWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWW!!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent. Many thanks
ReplyDeleteFinally , something that works!!
ReplyDeleteHad been trying a couple of others but they didn't work. But this works great! Thanks
The filter used to work for me, but doesn't anymore :( It shows me as a top commenter.
ReplyDeleteBesides listing me as THE top commentator, the widget displays incorrect comment counts. Totally useless -- I'm uninstalling.
ReplyDeleteYeah doesnt work for me either!
ReplyDeleteThankyou for sharing..
ReplyDeletethanx thanx ;)
ReplyDeletethanx admin.
ReplyDeletethankyou admin.
ReplyDeleteThe widget used to work perfectly until recently when it doesn't even display anymore. In all that time, I never really got d name filter to work! What to do?
ReplyDeletehttp://www.imisioluwa.blogspot.com
Aneesh,
ReplyDeleteHow can I reset this top commentator widget? Any idea? I'm opening top commentator contest on my blog.
The internet explorer would not let me install this widget no matter how I tweak the security settings. Is there any way to view the html code without the use of the automatic installer?
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm using it now. Great stuff!

Hi, I recently got your commentators code, it worked, but today, it didn't show up. I wonder why?
ReplyDeleteHi, is there a way to have this reset monthly?
ReplyDeleteI love this widget; just one of the reasons I love Wordpress.
ReplyDeletenot working for me...please help!
ReplyDeleteAnother useful tips from BP Thanks a lot mate!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure this would encourage the readers to leave useful comments on our blogs :)
Love IT!
was working this morning...now, not so much....sigh!!!!!
ReplyDeletePlease help. i have tried all your relevant suggestions on this page, putting in the URL as suggested, but nothing has worked. I just get the title: 'Top commentators' and nothing else. I would appreciate a reply. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI have it installed on my sites and you will get a lot of spam, but it is filtered and I have to approve all my submissions first. I state right on my blog that you must leave a comment that is more that just “cool site” or I will delete it. It filters all the spam out, so all I have to do is hit delete. I highly recommend it.
ReplyDeleteThis still works?

ReplyDeleteBut I have the same question as a few comments above. Is there a way to reset monthly.
One problem I'm having is filtering my name. I copy and pasted over exactly the username I comment other but I still see my username tip of the list.
I will pop back in to see any replies or email me
